Humayun Kabir is an exceptional individual who has devoted his life to serving the destitute people of the riverine char areas of Kurigram district. Born and raised in Char Rajibpur upazila, Humayun Kabir completed his secondary education at Charnewaji High School in 1994. He went on to earn his Honors and Master’s degrees in Chemistry before completing an MBA from South East University.
Throughout his student life, Humayun Kabir was a contributing reporter for the Daily Ittefaq, demonstrating his passion for communication and social advocacy. After completing his education, he worked as a Laboratory Analyst at Square Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and later as a Chemist at Bashundhara Paper Mills Limited.
Humayun Kabir’s personal experience of losing his home several times to the Barahmaputra River inspired him to launch a social development project in 2019. Through his project, he has been working tirelessly to improve the lives of the impoverished people of the char areas in Kurigram district.
As a member of the team, Humayun Kabir is involved in devising innovative strategies and models for program implementation, governance, and visionary guidance. His leadership and dedication have been invaluable to the success of the WIDE ANGLE Foundation’s efforts to improve the lives of people in need in Bangladesh.
