WIDE ANGLE Foundation, a non-profit organization, distributed blankets among the destitute affected by the cold in northern Kurigram district on Monday.  

A number of poverty-stricken widows, elderly and disabled people received blankets at the programme held at different char areas of Brahmaputra river at Char Rajibpur upazila in Kurigram.       

Addressing the event as the chief gust, Mr. Humayun Kabir, the Executive Dirtector of WIDE ANGLE said “the cold wave has started amid the coronavirus pandemic. Everyone should stand by the low-income people during the crisis of the nation.”
